Spain: Fundación Laboral de la Construcción helps youth to integrate into the labour market, with the ‘HOY campaign’

Fundación Laboral de la Construcción of Castilla-La Mancha launched the campaign ‘HOY’, financed by the Government of Castilla-La Mancha (called, Junta de Castilla-La Mancha). An Employment Orientation Programme aimed at promoting the skills, abilities and attitudes of young people under 30 to become part of the construction sector.

Among the skills, the students learned to: develop a CV that improves their competence in the market; know the best job seekers; learn how to carry out a job interview; among other professional skills.

At first, the participants received personalised sessions to analyse their initial situation and design an itinerary for their incorporation into the labour market, focused on obtaining certificates of professionalism in areas where there is a high employment demand, or training actions related to BIM methodology.

The initiative also includes individualised socio-educational support, collaborative group networking actions, employment workshops, visits to companies, coaching for entrepreneurship and business creation, etc.
