In 2015 a convention was held in Greece, to empower women to join the structural section. The convention was facilitated by a female tv-persona who had a show of renovating houses and giving advice for home changes, serving at the same time a role model for other women.
Architects, engineers, policy makers and representatives of institutional bodies and mass media spoke to women who wish to pursue careers in the male-dominated construction industry.
