Practical workshops for primary schools
We invite students from primary schools to the School Center Kranj, where students see the facilities, are active in the practical workshops, get to know the programmes and possibilities for further career in civil construction.

National information day
Every year is organised a national “Information day” dedicated to presentation of school programmes and vocations to students from last triade of primary schools. E present programmes, workshops, possibilities for jobs in construction industry.

Construction fair MEGRA 2023 in Gornja Radgona, Slovenia.
Similarly as last year, CCIS CCBMIS together with regional CCIS chamber PGZ,together we organized and invited several primary schools from the eastern part of Slovenia to attend in the morning activities going on on construction fair MEGRA 2023. Several primary schools have decided to attend the fair with students from grade 9 ( 14 years old) accompanied by staff from the national ESS. We list here the schools that cooperated with us: Apače Primary School, Gornja Radgona Primary School, Radenci Primary School, Sveti Jurij ob Ščavnici Primary School, Črenšovci Primary School, Cezanjevci Primary School, Ljutomer Primary School, Mala Nedelja Primary School, Beltinci Primary School, Beltinci Primary School, Grad Primary School, Kuzma Primary School, Murska Sobota Primary School, Puconci Primary School and Tišina Primary School. In total, over 170 primary school students (girls and boys) visited the fair. We offered them 4 interesting points at the fair:
- Professional and motivating lectures at the central exhibition area in the largest hall of the Gornja Radgona Fair Centre.
- Getting to know all types of the latest light and heavy construction machines and the opportunity to sit in the machine together with the driver. The event was made possible by POMGRAD, the largest Slovenian construction company. The company provided machinery, vehicle management and educational guidance.
- It’s good to be a builder – quiz with attractive prizes. The quiz was moderated by Boštjan Čukur, the popular rapper 6PACk CUKUR, a ceramic artist and an excellent teacher, motivator and promoter of construction professions. This part was important because many young people wonder what profession to choose and what career to pursue. The organisers and sponsors of the youth awards were: the two Chambers of Commerce and Industry ZGIGM and the Pomurska Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and POMGRAD, the largest Slovenian construction company.
