Campaña “Seguridad y salud + cerca de la escuela” (Safety & Health closer to schools campaign)
With the aim of raising awareness of the importance of health and safety at work, the last years the Construction Labour Foundation have visited about 90 primary schools per year.
More than 3,000 pupils each year (between the ages of 7 and 14) are visited by H&S technicians from FLC to teach them the basics of safety at work in the construction sector.
The meetings consist of informative talks through practical examples, with the active participation of the students, aimed at establishing similarities between the risks that can be found in the construction sector and the domestic risks to which they may be exposed, so that the participants would feel familiar with and motivated to introduce small safety routines in their daily lives.
