It promoted efficient use of energy by being involved in local policy making and through financial incentives. The network benefitted from previous project experience through which it had investigated innovation in the heat sector and its benefits for regional development

Outcomes

Impacts/Outcomes 1:
A web-based guide, which served as a tool for municipal and regional policy-makers, in order to share guidelines, studies and best practices on sustainable energy solutions. It provided information on innovative policy measures and financing solutions for sustainable heating and cooling projects and shares practices on how to develop suitable approaches to implement such sustainable solutions in other regions and communities
