Digitalisation skills are one of the major challenges that the Construction industry has to overcome in order to improve the human capital in the sector. the COM (2012) 433 “Strategy for the sustainable competitiveness of the construction sector and its enterprises” identified ICT skills as a barrier to overcome to improve human capital in the sector. Besides the “Analytical Report Improving the human capital basis made by the European Construction Sector Observatory” reports that the poor digitalization in the sector, the transition to BIM projects as well as the increase of home automation will bring new working scenarios that will demand a sound level of digitalization of construction workers skills.
