Circular Economy, Meetings

Representatives from Fiec, EFBWW and EBC met with the leader of the initiative, Fundación Laboral de la Construcción, and CNC to address the European issue and the new sector.

On July 4th, representatives of Fundación Laboral de la Construcción and Confederación Nacional de la Construcción from Spain, travelled to Brussels to meet with the European side of the project. The meeting, which was attended by members of the European Construction Industry Federation (FIEC), the European Federation of Building and Woodworkers (EFBWW) and the European Builders Confederation (EBC), was aimed at going one step further the new sectoral strategy for training at European level.

Construction Blueprint, as part of its Sectoral Skills Alliance, has a strong European component. Its primary objective is to promote the unity and symmetry of training in the European countries, to allow professionals to move freely within the European space without being disadvantaged in their professional careers.

This meeting strengthened the links of partnership and helped to focus the strategy to make it effective and responsive to the current needs of the European market.
